Encore Introduction
Started in Taiwan, Encore began as a simple idea by its Founder to encourage her empty-nest parents, particularly her mother, in finding renewed fulfillment in their lives through genuine connections by way of shared interests and hobbies. Although Encore, from its inception, was simply meant for and targeted towards the 50+ age group, our team made a surprising discovery along the way as Encore users increased: the desire to genuinely connect through shared interests was not limited to empty-nesters or retirees, but also folks in the prime of their adulthood, young working families and single parents, busy juggling their careers and children. This discovery made us begin to question just how many people there are who are also feeling isolated, listless, and lonely.
Whether it has been the pandemic, or increasingly toxic online platforms, or just the simple monotony of daily routines, that has caused adults in general to withdraw into isolated bubbles, we understand the struggle and we want to help. To anyone who feels their life is stuck in static motion of predictability, or maintaining a holding pattern of loneliness, we encourage you to join the Encore community to rediscover your verve and live your best all over again.
